When you book an appointment, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and any notes you add about the appointment. This information is collected via our booking form and passed to Square, which processes appointments on our behalf.
When you visit freshbyprince.com.au, our analytics provider (Netlify) collects standard traffic information such as page views, referring URLs, general location (country level), and browser type. We do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting.
How we use your information
- To confirm your appointment and send you reminders
- To contact you if we need to reschedule or clarify anything about your booking
- To improve the website based on aggregate traffic patterns
- To respond to enquiries you send us
Who we share information with
We share the minimum information required to run the shop:
- Square: our appointment booking and payment processor. Square receives your name, email, phone and appointment details. Their privacy policy covers how they handle this.
- Netlify: hosts the website and provides basic analytics. Netlify does not receive personal information from bookings.
We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting.
How long we keep your information
Booking records are retained by Square in line with their data retention policies and Australian tax law requirements. We delete customer email records from our own systems on request.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections if the information is wrong
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations)
- Withdraw consent for future marketing communications
